Tenuta San Lodovico is a farmhouse where Nature is the main character, with its simplicity and immutable timings.
Here you will experience a new kind of luxury: that of silence and the absence of stress. Leisurely breakfasts, long walks in the woods, pleasant conversations, and contemplative moments will mark the days with a slow and relaxed rhythm.
The farmhouse is surrounded by the picturesque Maremma hills, in the greenest heart of Tuscany. It spans 80 hectares of hilly land, half of which is forested. It includes 3 areas: one dedicated to hospitality, one to food production, and a Wilderness Area, a protected zone that absolutely safeguards the natural habitat, partially accessible only with our guides.
The estate is reached by a 5 km dirt road that immediately sets the atmosphere you will find here: wild, pristine, full of adventure and possibilities. The adventure begins when leaving your car to get on an off-road vehicle that will lead to the tents along challenging trails not accessible to vehicles not equipped to handle fords, rough paths, and steep climbs.

Our accommodations are much more than mere tents: they are eco-sustainable Lodges, featuring double beds, bathrooms with large shower stalls, and spacious verandas to enjoy the sunset, perhaps after a dip in the woods, a pleasant yoga session, or a break in our heated pool.
Here, the boundaries between inside and outside are blurred: simply lifting the wall provides a front-row seat to the magnificent show that nature stages. The play of light and shadows, the continuously evolving seasons throughout the year, and the local wildlife: porcupines, deer, foxes, martens, badgers, hares, wild boars, and pheasants.

Everything is born and grows in our garden, cultivated under the generous sun of Maremma. Here, you will rediscover the taste of the freshest vegetables, the scent of our own extra virgin olive oil, the forgotten flavors of ancient fruits, and the genuineness of eggs from our chickens.
Even the meat comes from our animals, raised with a focus on their well-being.

Tenuta San Lodovico has been designated a Wilderness Area, the first in Tuscany and the entire Maremma (both Lazio and Tuscany). Devoid of roads and modern constructions, this area is a protected zone where access is limited and, in some parts, only possible with our guides: trees, wildlife, and panoramic views are just a part of what one encounters in this corner of untouched nature.
